As a rising fourth-year architecture student in the School of Architecture at the University of Miami, I've always considered architectural design to be a deep passion of mine. My initial interest in architecture as a career began in my junior year of high school at American Heritage School in Plantation, Florida, when I took my first architecture class.
Though my original intention was to fulfill a course requirement for graduation, architecture design became an outlet for me to express my creativity and ideas. I found myself devoting a lot of time towards achieving "the perfect design" until I was satisfied with the result.
With 4.5 years, and counting, of architecture under my belt, my knowledge and interest in this art has exceeded far more than I could have ever imagined. My hope is to continue to broaden my knowledge and focus on interior design and hospitality.
